So…I am back! The trip to Jakarta and Pulau Tidung was exhausting but fruitful.
Four hours “boat” ride (tiny little boat beating against strong waves…phew!!!) as if not enough, raindrops kept falling throughout the ride but as we reached the island, the sun was up in the sky and we could feel the temperature is rising as though we were in hot oven, as sweat tickled nonstop from our forehead…so much so as we thought we could arrive in “style”!
Our jaw dropped in awe as we reached the island; hopping off the “boat” with our feet soaking in the crystal clear water, clear blue sky with cotton candy clouds, and the island is untouched by heavy tourism…the scenery is truly breathtaking. When we settled down, we did not hesitate a mere moment, I pulled put my gadget and we started shooting.
Time flies and we tried to do as much as possible…waking up before sunrise the next day in effort to capture the beauty of the nature (which the color of the sky doesn’t look like what I expected) but is ok because the island is so beautiful. This time, I try to produce something different…the feelings, the effect…everything.
